During the first years of this centuy, the owners of Fefiņanes were Doņa Joaquina Armada y Losada, a descendent of the founders, and her husband Don Miguel Gil Casares, an illustrious doctor in the city of Santiago de Compostela, university chair and senator. It was they who first bottled and labelled an Albariņo, the "Albariņo de Fefiņanes whose trademark was later registered in 1928. It was in this same year that the wine achieved an important mention in the Barcelona International Wine Fair.
Since that time, it has been the continual objetive throughout the history of the Bodega to preserve the memory of this legendary grape-variety, to draw on its plenitude and personality and to spread the knowledge of it beyong the borders of Galicia
